Music, and Cultural Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To understand 22degrees Universe, it is necessary to understand the accumulation of experiences from which this concept emerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project did not appear suddenly as an isolated idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It exists as a continuation of a lifetime of physical experiences, cultural experiences, encounters with nature, and social experiences accumulated from childhood to the present day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the longest continuous influences in my life has been music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since first picking up the trumpet at the age of seven, music has remained a constant presence throughout my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over many years of engaging with music, I became increasingly aware of the extraordinary nature of human sensitivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The power of music is not created by melody alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tone, pitch, resonance, decay, dynamics, and countless subtle variations shape the way people respond emotionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A particular sound may feel beautiful to one person, while evoking sadness in another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A melody may move someone deeply, while bringing a sense of calm to someone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no single correct response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Human beings do not simply hear sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They experience sound through memory, personal history, emotion, and perception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through decades of engagement with music, I learned that human sensitivity is remarkably delicate and that each individual experiences the world differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even when listening to the same piece of music, people do not receive the same experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This difference is not a limitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is one of the fundamental sources of human richness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the origins of my interest in the value of human experience can be found in these observations of music and perception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another major influence on my sensitivity was my relationship with nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From childhood, I was deeply fascinated by plants, insects, birds, and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nature was not only something to observe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was also a place that nurtured imagination, curiosity, and inner calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plants change with the seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Birds change their behavior throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sky changes with weather and light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even when standing in the same location, the world never appears exactly the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nature is in a constant state of transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through observing these changes, I gradually learned to perceive time not merely as something measured by clocks, but as something revealed through living phenomena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Morning has its own light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daytime has its own atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evening has its own colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Night has its own silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These observations would later evolve into my interest in the experiential value of different times of day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My family environment also played a significant role in shaping my worldview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My parents practiced both Ikebana and the Japanese tea ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Growing up within that environment, I was exposed to ideas of respect, gratitude, discipline, human relationships, and awareness of one\u2019s surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In particular, Ikenobo Ikebana is far more than the technical arrangement of flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is an act of observing nature and reconstructing its beauty within a limited space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It contains negative space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It contains silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It contains seasonality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And above all, it contains respect for nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These principles are deeply connected to the ideas of human-nature relationships that continue to influence 22degrees Universe today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the tea ceremony, the most important lesson I absorbed was the value of silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tea ceremony does not depend on spectacle or excess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead, it creates a carefully defined space and a carefully defined period of time in which attention can be focused on the present moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a child, I did not fully understand the significance of this experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, looking back, I recognize that this sense of silence profoundly influenced my inner world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do people feel within a quiet space?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do people discover within a quiet period of time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Silence is not the absence of something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is an environment that allows human beings to encounter their own thoughts, perceptions, and emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of the themes explored within 22degrees Universe\u2014sunsets, music, space, nature, retreat, and experiential value\u2014are connected to this long-standing interest in silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That sensitivity was cultivated, in part, through my early encounters with the tea ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking back, music, nature, Ikebana, and the tea ceremony were never separate influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of them explored how human beings experience time and space through their senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time, I did not understand this as a philosophical framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet over the years, I have come to realize that all of these experiences pointed in the same direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Human beings do not merely exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Human beings experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People standing in the same place do not see the same world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People listening to the same music do not feel the same emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People watching the same sunset do not create the same memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even when sharing the same moment, each person inhabits a different experiential reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through years of observation and reflection, I have come to believe that human beings are shaped by these differences in experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These differences are not divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are expressions of human richness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">22degrees Universe began as an exploration of this uniquely human sensitivity and the diversity of human experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its origins can be found in the long accumulation of natural, musical, cultural, and physical experiences that have shaped my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chapter 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u4eba\u9593\u5f62\u6210\u306e\u57fa\u76e4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u81ea\u7136\u30fb\u97f3\u697d\u30fb\u6587\u5316\u7d4c\u9a13\u304c\u5f62\u6210\u3057\u305f\u611f\u53d7\u6027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>22degrees Universe \u3092\u7406\u89e3\u3059\u308b\u305f\u3081\u306b\u306f\u3001\u305d\u306e\u69cb\u60f3\u304c\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u7d4c\u9a13\u306e\u84c4\u7a4d\u304b\u3089\u751f\u307e\u308c\u305f\u306e\u304b\u3092\u7406\u89e3\u3059\u308b\u5fc5\u8981\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u3053\u306e\u69cb\u60f3\u306f\u3001\u3042\u308b\u65e5\u7a81\u7136\u751f\u307e\u308c\u305f\u3082\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5e7c\u5c11\u671f\u304b\u3089\u73fe\u5728\u306b\u81f3\u308b\u307e\u3067\u7a4d\u307f\u91cd\u306d\u3089\u308c\u3066\u304d\u305f\u8eab\u4f53\u7d4c\u9a13\u3001\u6587\u5316\u7d4c\u9a13\u3001\u81ea\u7136\u7d4c\u9a13\u3001\u305d\u3057\u3066\u793e\u4f1a\u7d4c\u9a13\u306e\u5ef6\u9577\u7dda\u4e0a\u306b\u5b58\u5728\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u4eba\u751f\u306b\u304a\u3044\u3066\u6700\u3082\u9577\u304f\u7d99\u7d9a\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3082\u306e\u306e\u4e00\u3064\u304c\u97f3\u697d\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u4e03\u6b73\u3067\u30c8\u30e9\u30f3\u30da\u30c3\u30c8\u3092\u624b\u306b\u3057\u3066\u4ee5\u6765\u3001\u97f3\u697d\u306f\u5e38\u306b\u4eba\u751f\u3068\u5171\u306b\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u9577\u5e74\u97f3\u697d\u306b\u89e6\u308c\u308b\u4e2d\u3067\u611f\u3058\u3066\u304d\u305f\u306e\u306f\u3001\u4eba\u9593\u306e\u611f\u53d7\u6027\u306e\u4e0d\u601d\u8b70\u3055\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u97f3\u697d\u306e\u9b45\u529b\u306f\u30e1\u30ed\u30c7\u30a3\u30fc\u3060\u3051\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u6210\u7acb\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u308f\u3051\u3067\u306f\u306a\u3044\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u97f3\u8272\u3001\u97f3\u7a0b\u3001\u97ff\u304d\u3001\u4f59\u97fb\u3001\u5f37\u5f31\u3001\u305d\u306e\u308f\u305a\u304b\u306a\u9055\u3044\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u3001\u4eba\u306f\u7570\u306a\u308b\u611f\u60c5\u3092\u62b1\u304f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u3042\u308b\u97f3\u3092\u7f8e\u3057\u3044\u3068\u611f\u3058\u308b\u4eba\u3082\u3044\u308c\u3070\u3001\u5207\u306a\u3055\u3092\u611f\u3058\u308b\u4eba\u3082\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u3042\u308b\u65cb\u5f8b\u306b\u5fc3\u3092\u9707\u308f\u305b\u308b\u4eba\u3082\u3044\u308c\u3070\u3001\u5b89\u3089\u304e\u3092\u611f\u3058\u308b\u4eba\u3082\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u305d\u3053\u306b\u306f\u7d76\u5bfe\u7684\u306a\u6b63\u89e3\u306f\u5b58\u5728\u3057\u306a\u3044\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u4eba\u9593\u306f\u97f3\u3092\u5358\u306b\u805e\u3044\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u3001\u81ea\u3089\u306e\u7d4c\u9a13\u3084\u8a18\u61b6\u3001\u611f\u53d7\u6027\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u97f3\u3092\u4f53\u9a13\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5e7c\u5c11\u671f\u304b\u3089\u9577\u5e74\u306b\u308f\u305f\u308a\u97f3\u697d\u306b\u89e6\u308c\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3001\u4eba\u9593\u306e\u611f\u53d7\u6027\u304c\u3044\u304b\u306b\u7e4a\u7d30\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u307e\u305f\u4e00\u4eba\u3072\u3068\u308a\u7570\u306a\u308b\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u304b\u3092\u5b66\u3093\u3067\u304d\u305f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u540c\u3058\u97f3\u697d\u3092\u8074\u3044\u3066\u3082\u3001\u4eba\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u53d7\u3051\u53d6\u308b\u4f53\u9a13\u306f\u7570\u306a\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u305d\u306e\u9055\u3044\u3053\u305d\u304c\u4eba\u9593\u3089\u3057\u3055\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u4eba\u9593\u306e\u8c4a\u304b\u3055\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u73fe\u5728\u63a2\u7a76\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u4f53\u9a13\u4fa1\u5024\u3068\u3044\u3046\u8003\u3048\u65b9\u306e\u539f\u70b9\u306e\u4e00\u3064\u306f\u3001\u3053\u306e\u97f3\u697d\u4f53\u9a13\u306e\u4e2d\u306b\u5b58\u5728\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u540c\u6642\u306b\u3001\u611f\u53d7\u6027\u3092\u5f62\u6210\u3057\u305f\u3082\u3046\u4e00\u3064\u306e\u5927\u304d\u306a\u8981\u7d20\u304c\u81ea\u7136\u3068\u306e\u95a2\u308f\u308a\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5e7c\u5c11\u671f\u304b\u3089\u690d\u7269\u3084\u6606\u866b\u3001\u9ce5\u3084\u52d5\u7269\u306b\u5f37\u3044\u95a2\u5fc3\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u3044\u305f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u81ea\u7136\u306f\u89b3\u5bdf\u306e\u5bfe\u8c61\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u540c\u6642\u306b\u3001\u5fc3\u3092\u843d\u3061\u7740\u304b\u305b\u3001\u60f3\u50cf\u529b\u3092\u5e83\u3052\u308b\u5834\u6240\u3067\u3082\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u690d\u7269\u306f\u5b63\u7bc0\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u59ff\u3092\u5909\u3048\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u9ce5\u306f\u6642\u9593\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u884c\u52d5\u3092\u5909\u3048\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u7a7a\u306f\u5929\u5019\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u8868\u60c5\u3092\u5909\u3048\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u540c\u3058\u5834\u6240\u3067\u3042\u3063\u3066\u3082\u3001\u540c\u3058\u59ff\u3092\u898b\u305b\u7d9a\u3051\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u306a\u3044\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u81ea\u7136\u306f\u5e38\u306b\u5909\u5316\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u305d\u306e\u5909\u5316\u3092\u89b3\u5bdf\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306b\u3088\u3063\u3066\u3001\u6642\u9593\u3068\u3044\u3046\u3082\u306e\u3092\u6642\u8a08\u3067\u306f\u306a\u304f\u73fe\u8c61\u3068\u3057\u3066\u6349\u3048\u308b\u611f\u899a\u3092\u8eab\u306b\u3064\u3051\u3066\u3044\u3063\u305f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u663c\u306b\u306f\u663c\u306e\u7a7a\u6c17\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5915\u65b9\u306b\u306f\u5915\u65b9\u306e\u8272\u5f69\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u591c\u306b\u306f\u591c\u306e\u9759\u3051\u3055\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u3053\u3046\u3057\u305f\u611f\u899a\u306f\u5f8c\u306b\u3001\u6642\u9593\u5e2f\u3054\u3068\u306e\u4f53\u9a13\u4fa1\u5024\u3068\u3044\u3046\u8003\u3048\u65b9\u3078\u767a\u5c55\u3057\u3066\u3044\u304f\u3053\u3068\u306b\u306a\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u307e\u305f\u3001\u751f\u6d3b\u74b0\u5883\u3082\u73fe\u5728\u306e\u601d\u60f3\u5f62\u6210\u306b\u5927\u304d\u306a\u5f71\u97ff\u3092\u4e0e\u3048\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
