Basic Thinking
The Bunshin Framework and Bunshin OS are based on a simple idea.
They are not being created merely to expand human capabilities, increase productivity, or multiply activities.
They are being created to help people live richer, more meaningful, and more fulfilling lives.
Human beings have many desires, goals, interests, and motivations. Because of this, Bunshin systems could potentially be used in many different ways.
For that reason, it is important to establish a clear starting point.
The fundamental purpose of Bunshin Framework and Bunshin OS is to contribute to human happiness, fulfillment, and quality of life.
Within the Japanese concept of Kidoairaku (Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Pleasure), the Bunshin vision places its focus primarily on two elements:
Joy
The experience of happiness, gratitude, appreciation, hope, discovery, achievement, and positive meaning.
Pleasure
The experience of enjoyment, curiosity, creativity, exploration, learning, culture, and life enrichment.
These two ideas serve as the primary direction of Bunshin Framework and Bunshin OS.
The purpose is not to amplify conflict, hostility, manipulation, or harm.
The purpose is to help people create more meaningful experiences, stronger relationships, greater creativity, deeper learning, and a richer life.
Every future discussion, research project, experiment, design decision, and development effort related to Bunshin Framework and Bunshin OS should be viewed through this perspective.
The ultimate goal is simple.
To help people experience more joy.
To help people experience more enjoyment.
To help people live richer and more fulfilling lives.

Bunshin Framework Development Log
Confirmed Definitions
Human Experience
Human Experience is the totality of experiences that human beings live through, observe, interpret, and assign meaning to throughout time.
Human Difference
Human Difference is the uniquely human phenomenon in which different individuals derive different meanings, values, interpretations, and memories from the same event or experience.
Human Difference is not merely a difference between people. It is also a source of discovery, a medium through which discoveries circulate, and a driving force that expands discovery.
Discovery
Discovery is the process through which human beings recognize, understand, and create new meaning through experience, observation, and interpretation.
Discovery is not limited to a small number of exceptionally talented individuals. It emerges continuously through the everyday experiences of people around the world.
Discovery Ecology
Discovery Ecology is the field of study that explores how discoveries are generated, circulated, evolved, and expanded through the interactions among human experiences, interpretations, values, memories, environments, and chance events.
Discoveries are created by individuals.
At the same time, the ecosystem formed by the differences in human experiences and interpretations also continuously generates new discoveries.
Discovery Ecology studies both the individual and collective dimensions of discovery.
Discovery Ecology Core Principle
Discoveries originate within individuals.
However, discoveries do not remain within individuals.
When discoveries encounter the experiences, interpretations, values, and memories of others, they circulate, evolve, and expand into new discoveries.
This cyclical structure is the central subject of Discovery Ecology.
Discovery Expansion
Discovery Expansion is the phenomenon in which existing discoveries generate new discoveries.
It describes a recursive process in which understanding creates further understanding, recognition generates further recognition, and discoveries continuously expand through interaction and accumulation.
Experience Expansion
Experience Expansion is the process through which human beings expand the range of experiences available to them through intentional choices and active engagement with the world.
By connecting with new activities, new challenges, new environments, and new perspectives, human beings increase the scope of what they are capable of experiencing.
Experience Deepening
Experience Deepening is not the expansion of experience into new domains, but the process of experiencing existing domains with greater depth, richness, meaning, and resolution.
It represents the increasing quality, density, and significance of human experience.
Self Discovery
Self Discovery is the process through which individuals come to understand their own values, emotions, preferences, behavioral tendencies, and sources of fulfillment through experience and discovery.
Human beings do not merely discover the external world.
They continuously discover themselves.
Experience Agency
Experience Agency is the human capacity to actively seek, choose, design, and pursue experiences.
Human beings are not merely experiencers.
They are also designers of experience.
Bunshin
Bunshin is not a replication of a human being.
It is not an AI personality.
It is not a digital clone.
Bunshin is a structure designed to extend human experience, memory, discovery, interpretation, values, and creativity across time.

Current Research Position
(As of 2026.06.04)
The research conducted to date suggests that Bunshin should not be understood as a theory of artificial intelligence.
Rather, it should be understood as a theory of Human Experience.
Through the development of Discovery Ecology, Discovery Expansion, Experience Expansion, Experience Deepening, and Self Discovery, an initial structural framework for understanding and extending human experience has begun to emerge.
The next phase of research will focus on:
Memory
Time Extension
Human Experience Layer
Bunshin Protocol
These concepts will form the next stage in the development of the Bunshin Framework.
Bunshin Framework

Minimum Experience Framework
One of the central questions within Bunshin Framework is:
“What is the smallest possible framework for preserving human experience?”
The current conclusion is that human experience can be preserved through three essential elements:
Story
Image
Perspective
Among these, Story is considered the most important.
Experience value does not primarily reside in objective facts, locations, timestamps, measurements, or records.
It resides in how an individual perceived, interpreted, and experienced a particular moment.
Even when multiple people share the same place, time, event, landscape, music, conversation, or experience, the meanings created within each individual are never identical.
For this reason, language and personal narration are regarded as the most effective method for preserving experience value.
Images serve as complementary records that support memory, context, atmosphere, and interpretation.
Perspective represents the unique angle from which an individual observes and understands reality.
Within 22degrees Universe, this perspective is expressed through the concept of 22degrees.
A slight shift in viewpoint can reveal discoveries that were previously invisible.
The same experience observed from a different angle may generate entirely new meanings, insights, questions, discoveries, and possibilities.
The proposed minimum structure therefore becomes:
Story
+
Image
+
22degrees Perspective
This structure is intentionally simple.
Its purpose is not merely to archive experiences.
Its purpose is to create conditions for future discovery.
Experiences generate discoveries.
Discoveries generate new perspectives.
New perspectives create new experiences.
New experiences generate further discoveries.
Through this continuous cycle, human understanding expands.
The accumulation of these expanding relationships forms a growing network of experience, discovery, meaning, and interpretation.
As experiences accumulate, future systems may help identify patterns, distributions, relationships, tendencies, and recurring structures across thousands of recorded experiences.
Such systems may reveal what kinds of experiences generate discovery, what environments encourage creativity, what situations produce meaning, and how individual patterns evolve across time.
In this sense, Bunshin is not envisioned as a digital clone, artificial personality, or memory database.
It is envisioned as a Human Experience Expansion System.
The Minimum Experience Framework is proposed as one of the foundational structures for preserving, connecting, and expanding human experience within Bunshin Framework and the broader vision of Human Experience Extension.
