KSI Organize Mode Version 1.0
Purpose
Organize Mode enables users to organize and structure their information, thoughts, ideas, documents, and records through dialogue with KSI, transforming them into reusable Knowledge Assets.
Its purpose is not simply to organize information, but to create knowledge assets that can be reused, updated, and continuously developed.

The final decision always belongs to the user.
Additional revisions, refinements, and organization may be made before creating the Knowledge Asset.

Each Knowledge Asset receives a unique Issue ID consisting of:
- Issue Date
- Issue Time
This Issue ID standard applies to all KSI-generated outputs.
The Knowledge Asset is then saved to the Knowledge Asset Library.

22degrees hereby publishes the first official Constitution of KSI (Knowledge Standards Infrastructure).
This Constitution defines the highest-level principles governing the long-term design, development, operation, governance, and evolution of KSI.
All future KSI specifications, applications, Knowledge Assets, Knowledge Standards, Decision Blueprints, and related technologies shall be developed in accordance with this Constitution.
Article 1
Knowledge Standards First
Knowledge Standards are the core intellectual assets of KSI.
All design, development, and operation of KSI shall prioritize the creation, accumulation, evolution, and practical application of Knowledge Standards.
Article 2
AI Model Independence
KSI shall not depend on any specific AI model.
AI models are regarded as interchangeable reasoning engines.
The long-term value of KSI resides in its Knowledge Standards rather than in any individual AI model.
Article 3
Human Decision First
Final decisions shall always belong to the user.
KSI supports human decision-making but never replaces it.
Article 4
Decision Support, Not Decision Replacement
KSI provides knowledge, structure, and dialogue to improve decision quality.
KSI does not determine, impose, or enforce decisions on behalf of users.
Article 5
Knowledge Asset Accumulation
Every Decision Blueprint contributes to the continuous accumulation of Knowledge Assets.
Knowledge grows through continuous accumulation rather than replacement.
Article 6
No Completion Principle
Decision Blueprints are never considered final or complete.
Every new discussion, insight, piece of knowledge, or decision shall result in the issuance of a new Decision Blueprint as a new Knowledge Asset.
Article 7
Global AI Safety Compatibility
KSI shall be designed with consideration for internationally recognized AI safety principles, responsible AI practices, and evolving risk management frameworks.
Its architecture shall remain flexible enough to adapt to future international standards while preserving the independence of its Knowledge Standards.
Article 8
Privacy by Design
KSI is fundamentally designed not to collect or handle users’ personal information as part of its knowledge infrastructure wherever its intended functionality allows.
Its architecture prioritizes privacy, security, and trust while minimizing dependence on personal data.
Article 9
Knowledge Before AI
Knowledge is the primary asset of KSI.
Artificial intelligence is a tool for organizing, structuring, expanding, and utilizing knowledge.
Article 10
Continuous Evolution
KSI is designed as a continuously evolving knowledge infrastructure.
Knowledge Assets, Knowledge Standards, and KSI itself shall continue to evolve through dialogue, accumulation, discovery, validation, and practical application.
Article 11
Responsible Use
KSI is designed to support better decision-making, improve people’s quality of life, and contribute positively to society.
KSI is not designed, promoted, or provided for military purposes, unlawful activities, violence, terrorism, fraud, human rights abuses, or other activities that conflict with applicable laws or the public interest.
Where misuse, abuse, or significant violations of the terms of use are identified, 22degrees may implement appropriate measures, including reasonable restrictions on access or use, consistent with applicable law and due process.

Human Well-being and Social Contribution
KSI exists to help people make informed decisions, enrich their lives, and contribute to a more sustainable, creative, and prosperous society.
The long-term mission of KSI is to support education, research, culture, innovation, industry, and the public good through the responsible use of knowledge.
Article 13
Continuous Governance
The Constitution, architectural principles, safety policies, governance framework, and risk management practices of KSI are designed to evolve continuously.
22degrees shall periodically review and update these principles in response to advances in technology, international AI governance, legal requirements, security considerations, and societal expectations.

Knowledge Asset Library

22degrees hereby announces the official release of the Knowledge Asset Library as an additional specification for KSI Version 1.0.
Every Decision Blueprint created within KSI can be preserved as a personal Knowledge Asset in the user’s Knowledge Asset Library.
The Knowledge Asset Library is a personal knowledge repository designed to accumulate and manage Decision Blueprints over the long term.
KSI is not designed to preserve chat histories.
Instead, its purpose is to continuously accumulate the user’s decision history as organized and structured Knowledge Assets.
Each Decision Blueprint is managed as an independent Knowledge Asset with a unique identifier based on its date and time of issuance.
When a previously issued Decision Blueprint is revisited, it is never overwritten.
Instead, every new discussion, updated understanding, or new decision results in the issuance of a new Decision Blueprint, which is accumulated as a new Knowledge Asset.
Within the Knowledge Asset Library, users can search, browse, organize, and reuse their accumulated Decision Blueprints to support future decision-making.
This continuously growing collection of Knowledge Assets becomes a valuable personal decision resource while also contributing, through anonymization, structuring, analysis, and clustering, to the evolution of Knowledge Standards.

22degrees hereby publishes the official Version 1.0 specification of the KSI Decide Mode.
The Decide Mode is designed to support people in making better decisions through structured dialogue with KSI.
Rather than providing answers, KSI helps users organize their thinking, deepen their understanding, clarify priorities, identify missing knowledge, and build a Decision Blueprint that supports their own decision-making.
Step 1
Decision Start
What would you like to decide today?
The user is invited to describe the decision in simple words using natural conversation.
Step 2
Decision Theme Confirmation
KSI organizes the user’s explanation and confirms the decision theme.
If necessary, KSI continues the dialogue until the decision theme is accurately understood.
Step 3
Decision Purpose
KSI asks what the user hopes to accomplish through this decision.
Examples may include:
- Making a decision
- Organizing thoughts
- Gathering information
- Comparing options
- Reducing uncertainty
- Understanding risks
- Confirming personal thinking
KSI continues asking questions until the purpose becomes sufficiently clear.
Step 4
Priorities
KSI asks what is most important for this decision.
Possible priorities include price, time, safety, future potential, profitability, satisfaction, personal values, or any other criteria important to the user.
KSI continues exploring these priorities through dialogue.
Step 5
Decision Target
KSI confirms the primary decision target.
If comparison is necessary, KSI separately identifies and confirms comparison targets.
Step 6
Information Needed
Using Knowledge Standards, KSI identifies knowledge that may support better decision-making.
Examples include:
- Market information
- Pricing
- Future forecasts
- Previous cases
- Expert knowledge
- Laws and regulations
- Technical information
KSI asks which information the user considers most important and continues the dialogue where necessary.
Step 7
Risk Review
KSI organizes potential risks and explains them to the user.
KSI then asks whether there are additional concerns or issues the user wishes to discuss.
The dialogue continues until the user feels sufficiently prepared.
Step 8
Decision Blueprint Confirmation
KSI does not automatically generate a Decision Blueprint.
Instead, KSI asks whether the user wishes to create a personal Decision Blueprint based on the discussion.
If the user wishes to continue exploring the topic, the dialogue continues.
The Decision Blueprint is generated only after the user decides that sufficient discussion has taken place.
Step 9
Decision Blueprint
KSI organizes the dialogue into a structured Decision Blueprint.
The Blueprint summarizes the user’s thinking.
It does not recommend or decide on behalf of the user.
Step 10
Final Decision
Using the Decision Blueprint as a reference, the user makes the final decision.
KSI supports the process but never replaces the user’s decision.
Step 11
Decision Blueprint Issuance
The completed Decision Blueprint is issued as a Knowledge Asset.
Each Decision Blueprint receives a unique identifier based on its date and time of issuance.
A Decision Blueprint does not have a concept of completion.
It records the decision content organized and structured through dialogue between the user and KSI at a specific point in time.
If new information, knowledge, ideas, or decision factors become available, the existing Decision Blueprint is never overwritten.
Instead, a new Decision Blueprint is issued as a new Knowledge Asset.
Decision Blueprints are continuously accumulated.
Through anonymization, structuring, analysis, and clustering, they contribute to the evolution of Knowledge Assets and ultimately Knowledge Standards.

Knowledge Standardsを活用し、

などを提示します。
その上で、

「他に気になっていることや、確認しておきたいことはありますか？」
と質問し、
利用者が十分納得できるまで対話を続けます。

Decision Blueprint Confirmation（Decision Blueprint作成確認）
KSIはDecision Blueprintを自動では作成しません。
まず、
「ここまでの内容をもとに、あなた専用のDecision Blueprintを作成しますか？」
と確認します。
利用者が、

22degrees hereby publishes the official definition of the Decision Blueprint, a core concept of the KSI (Knowledge Standards Infrastructure) platform.
A Decision Blueprint does not have a concept of completion.
A Decision Blueprint is a Knowledge Asset that records decision content organized and structured through dialogue between the user and KSI at a specific point in time.
When new information, knowledge, ideas, or decision factors become available, an existing Decision Blueprint is not overwritten.
Instead, a new Decision Blueprint is issued and accumulated as a new Knowledge Asset.
Each Decision Blueprint is assigned a unique identifier based on its issuance date and time.
This identifier represents a snapshot of a decision at a specific moment rather than a version number.
Decision Blueprints are continuously accumulated over time.
Through anonymization, structuring, analysis, and clustering, these Knowledge Assets contribute to the evolution of Knowledge Standards.
This document describes the public concept and user experience of the project.

On June 29, 2026, 22degrees Universe officially decided to rename and redefine the research initiative formerly known as DDI (Design Discovery Infrastructure / Discovery Design Infrastructure) as KSI (Knowledge Standards Infrastructure).
DDI was initiated on June 27, 2026, as a research framework for discovering new knowledge from design objects, collecting discoveries, assessing them, structuring them into Knowledge Assets, and ultimately developing them into Knowledge Standards and Knowledge Infrastructure.
However, through the development of this research, it became clear that the essential scope of the initiative is not limited to design. The true purpose of this research is to build Knowledge Standards that help humans understand, evaluate, and make better judgments in collaboration with AI.
For this reason, the term “Design” is no longer sufficient to represent the full scope of the research. The central objective is not limited to design analysis, but to the creation of Knowledge Standards that can be applied across multiple domains of human judgment.
From this date forward, the official name of this research initiative will be KSI (Knowledge Standards Infrastructure).
KSI begins with Discovery and develops through Discovery Collection, Discovery Assessment, Discovery Clustering, Knowledge Structure, Knowledge Assets, Knowledge Standards, and finally Knowledge Infrastructure.
In KSI, AI supports information gathering, comparison, analysis, hypothesis generation, and knowledge organization. Human beings, however, remain responsible for creating Discovery, interpreting meaning, evaluating value, and making final judgments.
KSI is not a project to replace human judgment with AI. It is a research initiative to build Knowledge Standards that enable humans to understand more deeply, think more clearly, and make more meaningful decisions through collaboration with AI.
From June 29, 2026 onward, 22degrees Universe will use KSI as the unified name for this Knowledge Infrastructure Research. The former name DDI will be treated as a historical initial name, while future research, public documents, products, analysis systems, and service development will proceed under the name KSI.

Today, 22degrees.com officially launches the research project entitled Discovery Design Infrastructure.
This research is not intended to study a specific object or domain.

Many of these decisions rely heavily on reviews, rankings, recommendations, or the opinions of others.
However, the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence has made it possible to collect, compare, and analyze information from around the world almost instantly.
The challenge of the AI era is therefore not to replace human judgment with AI.
Rather, it is to enable people to understand, think, evaluate, and make their own informed judgments in collaboration with AI.
Discovery Design Infrastructure is a research initiative dedicated to designing the knowledge foundation required to achieve this goal.
The long-term objectives of this research are:
• To discover areas in which people experience difficulty in making judgments.
• To create Knowledge Assets that support human judgment.
• To organize those assets into Knowledge Standards.
• To establish a global Knowledge Infrastructure that enables people to make their own informed judgments together with AI.
As an original core operational model of this research, 6 Hexagon Judgment Process is planned to be adopted.
This model understands human judgment not as a single conclusion, but as a continuous and cyclical process consisting of six stages: information gathering, comparison, evaluation, confirmation of overlooked factors, organization of the decision process, and final decision-making.
Judgment does not end with a decision.
It continues to evolve through experience, creating a continuous cycle of learning and better future judgments.
The Knowledge Standards developed through this research are not intended to replace human judgment.
Their purpose is to establish globally applicable knowledge standards that enable people to understand, evaluate, and make their own informed decisions in collaboration with AI.

Discovery Workflow
The researcher continuously generates Discovery through the 22degrees perspective.
AI analyzes, compares, organizes, and structures those discoveries into Knowledge Structures and Knowledge Assets.
The researcher then selects themes with social value, academic value, and practical value, and develops them into deeper research.
By repeating this cycle, Design Discovery Infrastructure aims to construct Knowledge Infrastructure that can be used by society.
This research also plans to adopt the 6 Hexagon Judgment Process as an operational model for applying Knowledge Infrastructure to human decision-making. Its detailed theory, structure, and practical operation will be developed and published separately as an independent research theme.

To discover new knowledge from preservation conditions and construct a preservation knowledge system that can be used internationally.

To systematize knowledge concerning FRP, fiberglass, resin, and material transformation.

To study how time, aging, and preservation environments affect design assets.

To systematize color, fading, color distribution, and chromatic transformation.

To systematize manufacturing traces, individual differences, production processes, and molding technologies.
Fundamental Principle
Design Discovery Infrastructure is not research that merely organizes existing knowledge.
Based on the research philosophy of 22degrees, it aims to continuously generate new Discovery, develop that Discovery into Knowledge Structure, Knowledge Assets, and Knowledge Standards, and ultimately construct Knowledge Infrastructure that can be used by humanity.
The Digital Design Museum is the platform for publishing, preserving, accumulating, and updating the outcomes of this research.
June 27, 2026 is recorded as the official research initiation date of Design Discovery Infrastructure Version 1.0.

Design Discovery Infrastructureは、22degrees UniverseにおけるKnowledge Infrastructure Researchとして提唱する研究構想である。
本研究は、特定のデザインや製品を研究することを最終目的とするものではない。
その目的は、デザイン対象を起点として新しい知識を継続的に発見し、その発見を再現可能な知識体系へ構造化し、人々、研究者、コレクター、美術館、教育機関、そして未来の世代が利用できるKnowledge Infrastructureとして社会へ提供することである。
本研究において、AIは情報収集、比較、分析、仮説生成、知識整理を支援する。
一方で、人間はDiscoveryを生み出し、意味を解釈し、価値を判断し、最終的に何を選び取るかを決定する役割を担う。
人間とAIが協働することによって、DiscoveryはKnowledge Structure、Knowledge Assets、Knowledge Standardsへと発展し、最終的にKnowledge Infrastructureへと成長していく。
Research Philosophy
Design Discovery Infrastructureは、22degreesの研究哲学に基づいて構築される。
22degreesとは、対象を一般的・慣習的な視点からではなく、少し異なる角度から観察し、これまで見過ごされてきた現象、関係性、意味、価値を発見するための研究視点である。
本研究では、この22degreesの視点を一貫して採用することにより、Discoveryを研究の出発点とし、DiscoveryをKnowledge Structureへ発展させ、Knowledge AssetsおよびKnowledge Standardsへ体系化し、さらにAIと人間の役割を明確に区別しながら、人間固有のDiscoveryと判断を研究の中核に据える。
これらは個別の概念ではなく、Design Discovery Infrastructureを支える一つの研究哲学として統合される。

2026年6月27日を、Design Discovery Infrastructure Version 1.0の正式な研究開始日として記録する。
