The Value of Human Experience in the Age of AI
Human Experience and Human Difference
The previous chapters explored nature, music, residential development, and the encounter with AI.
A common theme runs through all of them: human experience.
At its core, 22degrees Universe is concerned with how people feel, remember, interpret, and experience their lives.
In recent years, AI has advanced at an extraordinary pace.
It can write.
It can create music.
It can generate images and video.
It can assist with research, communication, and creativity.
There is little doubt that AI will continue to become an important part of human society.
Within this changing environment, an important question emerged.
What kinds of value can only human beings create?
Is it the ability to love another person?
Is it the ability to be moved by a beautiful landscape?
Is it the ability to preserve meaningful moments as memories?
Is it the feeling of peace found in nature?
Or is it the search for personal meaning within one’s own life?
There may be many answers.
However, human experience appears to exist at the center of all of them.
People do not experience the world in the same way.
Two people can stand in the same place and experience something entirely different.
Two people can listen to the same piece of music and remember different things.
Two people can witness the same sunset and receive different meanings from the experience.
These differences are not a matter of ability.
They are not a matter of right or wrong.
They emerge from different lives, different memories, different experiences, and different sensitivities.
22degrees Universe considers these differences to be important.
Every person is different.
Because of these differences, a single world gives rise to countless experiences.
One person may feel nostalgia while watching a sunset.
Another may feel hope.
Someone else may simply experience a quiet moment.
There is no hierarchy among these experiences.
The purpose is not to judge or evaluate them.
What matters is what each person feels and receives.
Within 22degrees Universe, these individual experiences are referred to as Human Experience.
The differences that make those experiences unique are referred to as Human Difference.
Human Difference is not a framework for comparing people.
It is a perspective for understanding human richness.
Because people experience life differently, diverse cultures, values, ideas, and forms of creativity continue to emerge.
No matter how advanced AI becomes, certain questions may remain deeply human.
What do people find beautiful?
What moves them emotionally?
What moments become lasting memories?
What experiences shape a meaningful life?
These questions continue to guide the direction of 22degrees Universe.
The project exists as an ongoing exploration of the value of human experience.
As this exploration continued, another area of curiosity gradually emerged.
Why do people sometimes feel energized and hopeful?
Why do they sometimes lose motivation?
Why can the same event affect different people in different ways?
Why can music, nature, and certain experiences sometimes help people recover a sense of balance?
These questions led to a growing interest in the relationship between human experience, well-being, and everyday life.
That subject will be explored in the next chapter.
Through the accumulation of these experiences and observations, one perspective has become increasingly important.
Human behavior, creativity, values, and life direction may originate first from sensation and perception.
The experience of finding something beautiful.
The feeling of comfort.
A sense of attraction.
A sense of wonder.
A memory that remains.
These sensory experiences may represent one of the most important foundations of human experiential value.
22degrees Universe can also be understood as an attempt to explore the significance of those sensations.

AI時代における人間体験の価値
Human Experience と Human Difference
これまでの章では、自然、音楽、住宅開発、そしてAIとの出会いについて整理してきた。
それらに共通して存在していたテーマが、人間の体験である。
22degrees Universe が関心を持っているのは、人間がどのように感じ、どのように記憶し、どのように人生を受け取っているのかということである。
近年、AIは急速に進化している。
文章を書くこともできる。
音楽を作ることもできる。
画像や映像を作ることもできる。
これから先、多くの分野でAIが活用されていくことは間違いないだろう。
そのような時代の中で、一つの問いが生まれた。
人間にしか生み出せない価値とは何なのだろうか。
人を好きになることだろうか。
美しい景色に心を動かされることだろうか。
大切な人との時間を記憶として残すことだろうか。
自然の中で安らぎを感じることだろうか。
あるいは、自分だけの人生の意味を見つけようとすることだろうか。
その答えは一つではない。
しかし、その中心には人間の体験が存在しているように感じている。
同じ景色を見ても、人によって感じることは違う。
同じ音楽を聴いても、人によって心に残るものは違う。
同じ場所を訪れても、人によって記憶される内容は違う。
これは能力の差ではない。
正解や不正解の話でもない。
人それぞれが異なる人生を歩み、異なる経験を積み重ねてきた結果として生まれる違いである。
本構想では、この違いをとても大切なものとして考えている。
人間は一人ひとり違う。
その違いがあるからこそ、同じ世界を見ていても多様な体験が生まれる。
ある人は夕暮れに懐かしさを感じる。
ある人は未来への希望を感じる。
ある人はただ静かな時間として受け取るかもしれない。
そこに優劣はない。
評価や正解を求めるものでもない。
大切なのは、その人が何を感じ、何を受け取ったのかということである。
22degrees Universeでは、この一人ひとり異なる体験を Human Experience と呼び、その違いそのものを Human Difference と呼んでいる。
Human Difference は人間同士を比較するための考え方ではない。
むしろ、人間の豊かさを理解するための視点である。
AIがどれほど進化したとしても、人間が何を美しいと感じるのか。
何に心を動かされるのか。
どのような時間を大切な記憶として残していくのか。
そうした問いは、これからも人間の側に残り続けるのではないかと考えている。
22degrees Universe は、その人間体験の価値を探究するための試みである。
そして、その探究を続ける中で、もう一つ考えるようになったことがある。
人間はなぜ元気になったり、落ち込んだりするのだろうか。
なぜ同じ出来事でも前向きになれる時と、そうでない時があるのだろうか。
なぜ人は音楽や自然によって励まされることがあるのだろうか。
そうした疑問から、人間の身体や心についても考えるようになった。
その考察については次章で整理する。
こうした経験の積み重ねを通じて、現在は一つの考えを重視している。
人間の行動、創造、価値観、そして人生の方向は、まず感覚から生まれるのではないかということである。
人が何かを美しいと感じること。
心地よいと感じること。
違和感を覚えること。
惹かれること。
記憶に残ること。
そうした感覚や知覚の働きが、人間の体験価値を形づくる重要な起点になっているのではないかと考察している。
22degrees Universe は、その感覚の価値を探究するための試みでもある。
